Founded through the region’s early footballing roots in 1887 and formally established as a league in 1923, the Mid Ulster Football League has grown from a small junior competition into one of Northern Ireland’s most respected amateur structures.
Over more than a century, it has expanded through new divisions, historic cup competitions and a strong commitment to fair play, community identity and player development.
Today, the MUFL supports over 100 clubs across Intermediate, Junior, Reserve and Development levels proudly maintaining its traditions while continuing to evolve for the modern game.
